THE ROLE

As an AMD Graduate Trainee, you’ll work alongside experts and industry pioneers, contribute to meaningful projects, develop new skills, and expand your professional network. You’ll be enrolled in a 12-month program designed to launch your career and build practical experience. Top performers may be considered for conversion to permanent employees upon successful completion of the program.

JOB DETAILS

Location: Penang, Malaysia

Program Type: Full-time Graduate Trainee Program

Program Duration: 12 months

Program Start Date: December 7, 2026

Eligibility: Recent graduates who completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree within one year of the program start date.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Able to plan, build, and execute the verification of new and existing features for High Speed IO Protocol IPs (USB, PCIe, Ethernet, UFS)

Understanding architecture specifications requirements and completing all duties assigned by the Supervisor.

Able to work well inside team/cross functional team.

Collaborate and communicate with team members to understand task that require to deliver.

Run design flows, simulations and regression management.

Perform first level debug test/design errors to determine the root cause.

Suggest fixes and solutions to test/design errors

Develop scripting for daily task execution efficiency improvement.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

Knowing system Verilog, verilog , Perl, TCL, Phyton is a plus.

AI fluency and familiarity with AI tools or technologies will be an added advantage.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in electrical & electronics engineering, mechatronics engineering, or comparable disciplines
