The Corporate Advisory & Banking (CAB) group is comprised of experienced corporate finance professionals who provide corporate finance advice and capital to substantial, privately held businesses. Business owners are confronted with a myriad of issues and decisions throughout the lifecycle of the company. No matter the situation, we act as a trusted partner and provide objective, actionable advice to help clients achieve their business and personal goals. CAB services include:

Capital support: We work with clients to meet their financing needs and are a value-added capital (debt or equity) provider to privately held companies across a variety of industries, including commodities & logistics, health care, manufacturing, and business services. Capital can take many forms. BBH works with clients to understand their business and industry to provide capital in a manner that will best help them grow their business.

Advisory support: We provide objective and actionable advice to help clients achieve their unique business and personal goals, including advising on mergers & acquisitions, financing transactions, and other strategic or corporate finance opportunities.

What can you expect from an Internship with BBH’s Corporate Advisory & Banking group?

Perform company and industry research

Exposure to building models and performing valuation analyses

Support the development of client presentations assessing the client’s business, growth prospects, industry insights, valuation perspectives and strategic alternatives

Exposure to rigorous credit analysis, including conducting financial statement analysis, monitoring collateral, and underwriting new and existing credits and structuring credit facilities

What BBH’s Corporate Advisory and Banking group looks for in an Intern:

Current junior in college, entering senior year in fall of 2027 with a background in and passion for finance, business, or investing

Strong academic achievement as evidenced through a GPA of 3.5 or higher

Demonstrated leadership skills through academic and extracurricular activities

Effective communication skills, written and verbal

Strong interest and curiosity in business, including up-to-date knowledge on general business news and trends

Demonstrated ability to think creatively and strategically

Sound judgment and demonstrated ability to identify, escalate and resolve a problem

Ability to prioritize competing demands

Demonstrated passion for teamwork and success

Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, i.e. customizing charts and graphs, conducting multi-sheet analysis, linking data across workbooks, and using advanced formulas

Salary Range

$25/hr + sign-on bonus

BBH and its affiliates' compensation program includes base salary, discretionary bonuses, and profit-sharing. The anticipated base salary range(s) shown above are only for the indicated location(s) and may differ in other locations due to cost of living and labor considerations. Base salaries may vary based on factors such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.
