Job Summary

Caterpillar offers a unique opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience and build key commercial competencies in sales, marketing, business analytics, customer engagement, and strategy. Interns will support initiatives that help Caterpillar and its dealers better understand customer needs, identify market opportunities, and deliver solutions that drive business growth.

Working within Customer Solutions Core Regions or Cat Rental & Used, interns will assist with projects related to customer insights, market analysis, dealer development, rental and used equipment growth strategies, commercial performance, and business planning. This role provides exposure to a dynamic commercial environment while contributing to initiatives that enhance customer success and business outcomes.

What You Will Do:

Responsibilities may include:

Analyze business, customer, market, and operational data to identify trends and business opportunities.

Support the development of reports, dashboards, presentations, and recommendations for internal and external stakeholders.

Assist with market research, customer insights activities, and Voice of Customer initiatives.

Contribute to the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, customer engagement programs, events, and communication strategies.

Support commercial projects and strategic initiatives through research, analysis, project coordination, and stakeholder engagement.

Collaborate with teams across sales, marketing, business development, and customer solutions to help drive business growth.

Assist in developing and improving processes, tools, and reporting capabilities.

Present findings and recommendations to business leaders and project teams.

What will be a plus:

Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Salesforce, or similar business tools.

Knowledge of data analytics, digital marketing, or project management principles.

Familiarity with AI productivity tools.

Additional European language skills.

Previous internship, professional, or project experience in business, marketing, sales, analytics, engineering, or a related field.

Program Qualifications:

Recent graduate with up to 2 years of professional experience

Or currently enrolled full time in a Bachelor's or Master's  in one of the following degree programs: Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Economics, Communications, Engineering, Digital Marketing, Public Relations

Graduation date must be August 2027 and beyond

Must be willing & able to travel

Program information:

Application deadline: 30th November 2026

This is a full- time (40 hours per week) 6-month internship: 1st February 2027 to 31st July 2027- with a potential additional 6 months (depending on business need and individual performance)
