General Motors is seeking 2027 Summer Manufacturing Interns - Mechanical Engineer (onsite) for 40 hours/week across multiple US locations (e.g., Arlington, TX; Detroit, MI; etc.). Responsibilities include mechanical root cause analysis, evaluating product and process methods of manufacture, assisting in the design/building of tools and equipment, supporting maintenance and operation of specialized equipment, troubleshooting, and coordinating machinery upgrade projects. Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or Mechatronics, graduating between August 2027 and June 2029. Start dates: May 24 or June 14, 2027. Onsite role with no immigration sponsorship; GM will provide a one-time lump sum taxable relocation stipend for eligible students.
