Unpaid externship for 4th-year veterinary students (international and domestic) in exotic animal medicine at Nashville Zoo. Minimum 4 weeks, 40 hours/week, housing provided but travel not reimbursed. Applications open May 1–Sept 15; interviews in October for the following school year. Responsibilities include clinical procedures, lab work, animal care, and presenting a 25–30 minute findings presentation to staff. Background check and TB test required.
