The Advanced Nursing Extern will provide patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Duties are limited to those within the scope of unlicensed health care providers acting under the direction of a licensed nurse per the Alabama Board of Nursing. This individual shall support the Nursing department with selected technical skills, data collection, and lab specimen collection; additional duties may be assigned within the scope of the role.
