About the Role

Are you looking to build your finance and accounting experience in a dynamic industry? As a Midstream Finance Co-op Student, you'll have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals and gain hands-on experience supporting key finance and accounting functions within AltaGas' Midstream business. Through meaningful projects and day-to-day responsibilities, you'll develop your analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills while gaining valuable insight into how finance supports business decisions in the energy industry.

What You'll Do

Support a variety of finance and accounting activities across AltaGas' Midstream business.

Assist with financial reporting, analysis, and month-end accounting processes.

Help prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and other financial documentation.

Analyze financial results and investigate variances and trends.

Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Operations, and Commercial teams to support business objectives.

Contribute to process improvement initiatives and special projects.

What You’ll Bring

Currently enrolled in your 2nd or 3rd year of an undergraduate degree program in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.

Proficient in Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis techniques.

Analytical mindset with high attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.
