Your Team, Your Impact

The CCDS CAD team within Marvell Central Engineering Organization is seeking a qualified intern candidate to work in a team environment to develop AMS/Optics CAD automation processes to enhance development efficiency. In this position, the intern will learn the skills required for CAD automation developments in pre-silicon environments.

What You Can Expect

Support the development, deployment, and maintenance of CAD methodologies, design flows, and automation tools for Analog/Mixed-Signal (AMS) and Photonics/Optics IC design.

Develop Python, SKILL, TCL, and other scripting solutions to improve design productivity, automation, and flow integration.

Assist in creating and maintaining PDK-related utilities, design environment setup, verification, and AI-Assisted design flows.

Work closely with analog, and optics design engineers to understand design challenges and develop effective CAD solutions.

Debug and resolve issues related to design environments, simulation setups, LVS, DRC, PEX, and reliability verification flows.

Support APAC region (Singapore, Vietnam, India, Taiwan), inclusive of US timezone.

What We're Looking For

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields.

Basic understanding of analog/mixed-signal IC design concepts, semiconductor devices, and IC design methodologies.

Knowledge of silicon photonics design is an advantage.

Good knowledge of Python scripting.

User level Knowledge of the Unix operating system.

Good level of English (spoken and written)

Good analysis and problem-solving skills. Out-of-the-box thinking.

Eager to learn AMS/Optics design domain concepts to understand the scope of the automation.
