Job Purpose:
To support the Strategic Business Unit and the Manufacturing Cell and apply coursework to real-world applications as a Manufacturing Engineer Intern. Position involves providing ideas, inputs and analysis as a project team member.
What You Will Do at Graco
Provide general production support for machining and/or assembly areas by participating in hands-on troubleshooting issues and providing technical assistance
Assist in evaluating the need for machine and/or assembly area upgrades
Participate in capital equipment justification as needed
Review and analyze standards and operational layouts to suggest improvements
Assist in the selection and implementation of tooling and fixtures for machining and/or assembly jobs
Participate in cost of quality improvements, root cause analysis and corrective action
React to changing priorities in a timely manner
Report man-hour estimates
What You Will Bring to Graco
Currently enrolled and pursing a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or comparable Engineering program
Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as an effective team member
Mechanical aptitude and desire for hands on work

Mechanical Engineer Intern
Position Summary: Join our dynamic team at Graco as a Mechanical Engineering Intern, where you will work alongside our Mechanical Engineers to design, support, analyze and develop solutions to challenging problems with fluid handling equipment. You will build skills in machine design, failure analysis, strength of materials, fluid mechanics, and problem solving
What You Will Do at Graco
Assist in new product development activities, such as:
Mechanical design ideation & collaboration
Hands-on support of project team prototyping & testing

Job Purpose
Join Graco as an Electrical Engineering Intern! Build a versatile skillset by designing both hardware and software. You will work alongside our electrical engineers to write embedded firmware and control algorithms, design circuit boards, work with batteries and battery management, design user interfaces, iOS and Android apps. This intern position also involves providing ideas, input, and analysis as a project team member.
What You Will Do at Graco
Participate in new product development as a member of a design team by: Applying your engineering skills to solve problems
Helping with design analysis and root cause testing
Running tests to optimize performance
Contributing to electrical hardware and software design
Participate in the standard product team by: Applying your engineering skills to solve problems
Determine root cause of failures in the field
Develop, qualify, and implement solutions to problems
Consult with electrical manufacturers to resolve product issues
Troubleshoot issues on existing standard products
Create and execute product qualification plans
Interact daily on-site with team, including lab work, project meetings, and design discussions
