ABB is hiring an Applications Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 in the United States (Alpharetta, GA or Chicago, IL). The work model is onsite/hybrid. No relocation assistance or stipends are offered; candidates must reside within 50 miles of the office and manage their own commuting. Responsibilities include development and testing of automation software, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of automation systems, creation of technical sales demonstrations, and documentation for automation systems. The hourly rate is $20-$34. Qualifications include currently being enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program in Engineering, CS, or related field; must be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now and in the future.
