Apprentices undergo a minimum 6-week paid piercing training program (classroom, observation, and hands-on). The 6-week program kicks off in October at the Tampa studio. Travel to one of Studs' studios for the training is paid by Studs. Upon successful completion, graduates become eligible for Part Time or Full Time Associate Piercer positions at the Boca Raton studio. During the training, apprentices earn $19/hour plus tips; after graduating, they earn $24/hour plus tips.
