Boys Town National Research Hospital offers three 12-month full-time Au.D. externship positions in Omaha, NE. Participants can choose between a clinical-only externship or a clinical+research externship. Externs will gain in-depth clinical experience in diagnostic audiology for pediatrics through adults, adult and pediatric amplification, evoked potentials, vestibular evaluation and treatment, and cochlear implant evaluation and mapping, with exposure to specialty clinics such as Cranio-Facial Clinic and Pediatric Hearing Loss Clinic. Optional learning opportunities include weekly journal groups, monthly lectures, and manufacturer trainings for Hearing aids, Cochlear Implants, and Auditory Osseointegrated Device. Applications must include the BTNRH Externship online application, a letter of interest, CV/Resume, and two letters of recommendation (one from clinical supervisor).
