Ausbildung zum Papiertechnologen (m/w/d) 2027

Apprenticeship starting August 1, 2027 in Dörpen for Papiertechnologe (m/w/d). A three-year training program (may be shortened for strong performance) combining practical on-the-job training with school blocks in Gernsbach to learn to set up, operate, monitor, maintain and quality-check modern paper machines and production lines. The program covers preparation of pulp and auxiliary materials, paper production, quality control lab, equipment and packaging lines, technical office/work preparation, metalworking and machine maintenance, as well as electrical, boiler house and water treatment areas. After three years, there are opportunities for advancement to Papiermaschinenführer and further qualification (Industriemeister Fachrichtung Papiererzeugung) or studies toward Diplom-Ingenieur Papiertechnik. Requirements include a Realschulabschluss (secondary school leaving certificate), strong interest in sciences (especially mathematics), technical aptitude and teamwork.
