Seaport Therapeutics is seeking a co-op student for a lab-based bioanalysis position in Discovery, focusing on LC-MS to screen novel drugs. Responsibilities include executing in vitro LC-MS experiments for screening lipid prodrugs to support preclinical discovery, processing and analyzing in vivo samples (plasma, lymph fluid, etc.) to generate DMPK data for various prodrugs, contributing to the development and optimization of LC-MS methods for both quantitative and qualitative analysis, routine use and troubleshooting of LC-MS instrumentation, and documenting all experiments using an electronic notebook and analyzing data for reports and regular internal presentations. This role contributes to advancing the pipeline of candidates generated from our Glyph prodrug platform in a startup environment.
