Job Description:

Hitachi Energy has an exciting opportunity for a Business Apprentice. You'll take responsibility for initiating and completing tasks, managing priorities and time in order to meet deadlines successfully. Positively manage the expectations of colleagues at all levels and set a positive example for others in the workplace. Make suggestions for improvements to working practice, showing understanding of implications beyond the immediate environment (e.g. impact on clients, suppliers, other parts of the organisation). Manage resources e.g. equipment or facilities. Organise meetings and events, take minutes during meetings and create action logs as appropriate. Take responsibility for logistics e.g. travel and accommodation.

Learn and develop foundational skills within a specific department at Hitachi, Ltd., contributing to daily operations and long-term projects while gaining practical industry experience.

How you'll make an impact:

Assist senior staff with various tasks and projects as directed.

Participate in training sessions and workshops to develop technical and professional skills.

Conduct research and gather information to support departmental initiatives.

Prepare reports, presentations, and other documentation as required.

Maintain accurate records and data entry.

Collaborate with team members on assigned tasks.

Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

Proactively seek out learning opportunities and ask questions to deepen understanding.

Background:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Strong interest in the industry relevant to the apprenticeship department.

Eagerness to learn and a positive, proactive attitude.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Basic computer proficiency (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Strong problem-solving aptitude and attention to detail.

Must be legally eligible to work in the country where the apprenticeship is based.
