Campaigns & Elections/Strategic Federal Partnerships Internship (Fall 2026)

Fall 2026 Strategic Federal Partnerships internship in NEA’s Center for Advocacy and Political Action. Tenure ranges from six weeks to a full semester, with a stipend of $20 per hour and up to 20 hours per week. Based at NEA Headquarters in Washington, DC. Interns gain hands-on experience across policy research and analysis, campaigns and elections, monitoring legislation, advocacy and organizing, and strategic communications, while supporting the Strategic Federal Partnerships team and broader election-related activities. The program emphasizes training, learning opportunities, and exposure to federal policy, campaigns, and education-labor advocacy.
