Job Description

We are recruiting our new Junior Product Designer Footwear Performance!

Here are the main missions of the role:

Design Creation & Product Development

Create product design based on consumer needs and the design brief, in line with the design strategy.

Take into account technical and economic production aspects (quality, costs, timelines).

Co-develop designs through to samples in collaboration with development and marketing teams.

Trend & Market Research

Research, study and analyze market and cultural trends as well as consumer needs.

Explore creative solutions and propose design solutions for product lines based on the project brief.

Ensure ongoing awareness of the design universe through continuous benchmarking.

Design Tools & Documentation

Create, explore and maintain the activity's design toolbox.

Produce and update design files, folders and boards.

Execute design guides and ensure they are applied and respected throughout the project.

Communication & Presentation

Convince, create attractive designs, and explain and communicate creations (drawings, mock-ups, prototypes) to the project team and management

Vos principales missions :

Création design & développement produit

Concevoir des produits en réponse aux besoins des consommateurs et au brief design, tout en respectant la stratégie de conception définie.

Intégrer les contraintes techniques et économiques de production (qualité, coûts, délais).

Co-développer les produits jusqu’à la phase d’échantillonnage en collaboration avec les équipes Développement Produit et Marketing.

Veille tendances & analyse marché

Rechercher, étudier et analyser les tendances du marché, les évolutions culturelles ainsi que les besoins des consommateurs.

Explorer des pistes créatives et proposer des solutions design adaptées aux lignes de produits en fonction du brief projet.

Assurer une veille continue de l’univers du design grâce à un benchmark régulier.

Outils design & documentation

Créer, développer et maintenir les outils et ressources de design de l’activité.

Produire et mettre à jour les fichiers, dossiers et supports de conception.

Élaborer les guides de design et veiller à leur bonne application tout au long du projet.

Communication & présentation

Défendre et promouvoir ses concepts créatifs en concevant des designs attractifs.

Présenter, expliquer et communiquer efficacement les créations (croquis, maquettes, prototypes) auprès de l’équipe projet et du management.

Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design/Product Design (Bac+3 to Bac+5) or equivalent, and 2 years of experience in a similar position. Freshly graduated candidates will also be considered if they display a keen interest for Performance product design.

Fluent English

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Proficiency in industry-specific software (e.g. Adobe Design, Photoshop, Illustrator)

Strong graphic design skills, knowledge of current design trends, and understanding of target markets (consumer needs, attitudes and behaviors)

Knowledge of the 3D creation process required

Knowledge of materials

Strong creativity required
