Packaging Innovation & Consumer Research Intern

We are seeking a motivated intern for a 15-week opportunity focused on prototyping, consumer research, and data analysis. This role provides hands-on experience supporting product development and in-person consumer research studies from setup through final analysis.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

PROTOTYPING

Support the creation of physical product samples and prototypes for client projects.

Operate a digital UV press and CAD cutting table.

Prepare artwork and production files for digital workflows.

Assist with refining prototypes based on project requirements and feedback.

CONSUMER RESEARCH

Support the planning and physical setup of in-person consumer research studies.

Move, arrange, and organize research materials, equipment, displays, and supplies.

Assist with consumer studies, including participant interactions and data collection.

Organize and analyze research results using Microsoft Excel.

Help identify patterns, insights, and findings from consumer data.

Contribute to research summaries and Microsoft PowerPoint presentations.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Enrollment in a four-year Business, Communications, Graphic Communications, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related degree program.

Entering junior or senior year.

If currently residing outside South Carolina, relocation to South Carolina for the duration of the internship is required and will be at the applicant’s own expense.

Reliable transportation.

U.S. citizenship, permanent residency, or authorization to work in the United States without additional sponsorship for the maximum duration of the program.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.

Interest in prototyping, product development, consumer behavior, and/or market research.

Adaptability and willingness to learn in an environment with changing parameters and demands.

Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.

Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach.

Comfort working in an in-person research environment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to stand, walk, and bend during study setup and execution.

Ability to lift and carry research materials, equipment, displays, and supplies.

Ability to perform physical setup and breakdown activities for in-person studies.

WHAT YOU WILL GAIN
