Swan Valley Co-op is hiring a part-time Courtesy at our Food Store in Swan River, MB.

What you'll do:
Reporting to the Grocery Manager, the Courtesy Clerk's responsibilities will include the following:
Be a liaison and public relations representative for the Co-op within the communities we serve.
Deliver world-class customer service that is fast, friendly and efficient.
Educate customers on the benefits of membership in Swan Valley Co-op and encourage them to join.
Provide assistance to Cashiers by packing customer orders and assisting with car service.
Stock shelves and maintain sections of merchandise as assigned in an effective manner.
Present a neat, clean, well-merchandised department and related work areas
Perform general housekeeping duties to ensure department image and safety standards are followed. Ensure sanitation and cleanliness standards are to Co-op specifications, including cleaning of all equipment and display cases.
Observe safety measures and report hazardous conditions immediately to the Grocery Manager.
Assist in the proper care and maintenance of all department equipment.
Follow safe front-line loss prevention practices, and maintain a constant alert against unauthorized removal of merchandise.
Perform other duties as assigned.
