Customer Engineer Intern

Internship for a Customer Engineer Intern at Applied Materials in Shanghai, China. Time Type: Part time; Employee Type: Intern / Student. Targets 2027 undergraduate and master's students; summer internship must be full-time and, after start, those who can commit 2-3 days per week for ongoing internship are prioritized. Responsibilities include off-site/non-site support under a senior engineer for device installation, debugging, maintenance, data collection, service records and technical documentation; participate in device fault analysis, upgrades, performance improvements, and testing verification; complete required trainings and safety/compliance tasks; adhere to safety, quality and environmental management requirements. Requires good English reading/writing skills and proficiency with MS Office; majors include automation, mechatronics, electronics/electrical engineering and related fields. Potential to convert to a full-time Customer Service Engineer after graduation.
