Diesel Technician Apprentice position at Love’s Travel Stops and Country Stores in Newton, IA. The apprentice program provides hands-on training across electrical diagnostics and repairs, air conditioning/heating diagnostics and repairs, wheel end assembly diagnostics, air system diagnostics and repairs, air brakes diagnostics and repairs, charging system diagnostics, basic computer diagnostics, and parts lookup. The role involves assisting customers with roadside services, learning preventative maintenance, lifting 75+ pounds, rotating day/night schedules, and obtaining a DOT medical card (paid by Love’s).
