Republic Services Technician Apprentice program is a two-year paid apprenticeship to become a certifed technician. Training includes 9 weeks of company-paid training at the Republic Services Technical Institute in Dallas, TX, followed by 22 months of on-the-job training in a nationwide placement (Danville, IL). Pay starts at $16.00/hour in Dallas during training and $20.25/hour during OJT in Danville, IL, with $0.50 increases after 500 and 1000 hours. Benefits include housing subsidies during training, tools/uniform/PPE provided, mentorship, and guaranteed consideration for a full-time technician position upon graduation. Training starts October 19th, 2026 in Dallas, TX for 9 weeks.
