Two-year paid technician apprenticeship program with Republic Services. Nine weeks of paid training in Dallas, TX, followed by 22 months of on-the-job training at Republic locations nationwide toward Apprentice certification as an entry-level Diesel Technician. Benefits include tuition-free education, housing subsidy during training, mentorship, tools and PPE provided, and guaranteed consideration for full-time technician position upon graduation. Pay during Dallas training is $16.00/hour; on-the-job pay in Allentown, PA is $23.30/hour with $0.50 raises after 500 and 1000 hours.
