A Driver Trainee will be trained by Republic Services to obtain a CDL and then assume a Driver position in one of the company’s lines of business (Residential, Commercial, Industrial, or Roll-Off). The program includes classroom study, on-route training, driving experience, and a loaned truck to take the CDL exam. After obtaining the CDL, the trainee moves into a Driver role. The position requires travel to Dallas, TX for company-paid CDL training and carries a 1-year contractual agreement.
