DVM student externship/preceptorship program at Green Hills Veterinary Clinic in Moberly, MO. Externships range from two to eight weeks (typically two to three weeks) with days, evenings and weekends. A stipend of $250 per week is provided. Under supervision, externs participate in all aspects of patient care, including histories, physical examinations, diagnostic and therapeutic planning, surgery, wellness care and medical records (SOAPs). Requirements: enrolled in an accredited DVM program, authorized to work in the United States, and carry AVMA PLIT liability insurance.
