EDM Change Delivery Analyst - New Graduate

Location: Burlington Department: Information Technology

Senior Associate

Alpha Data Services is seeking a collaborative, delivery-focused analyst to support the controlled evolution of its Enterprise Data Management (EDM) capabilities. Under the guidance of experienced team members, the analyst will support EDM change activities from requirements and design through testing, release and client adoption, with particular emphasis on user-interface functionality and visibility of client deployments.

The role will assist with tracking the EDM change portfolio, documenting user-interface design decisions, monitoring testing status and supporting changes as they progress towards production readiness.

A core responsibility will be to help maintain an inventory of the EDM interfaces, features and software versions deployed in each client environment. This inventory will help the organization understand each client’s current capabilities, identify gaps and dependencies, and explain the functional and operational benefits of future upgrades.

Responsibilities

EDM change delivery: Support the lifecycle of EDM changes under the guidance of experienced team members, from requirements definition and prioritization through design, build, testing, release and client adoption.

Requirements and traceability: Assist with documenting business, operational and client needs, acceptance criteria, process impacts and delivery outcomes, maintaining clear traceability between requirements and changes.

User-interface design governance: Participate in user-interface design discussions, document the options considered and decisions made, and prepare clear updates for stakeholders.

Design quality: Support reviews of proposed interfaces for usability, consistency, workflow efficiency and alignment with documented requirements.

Cross-functional liaison: Work with Product, Insights & Analytics, Engineering, Testing, Client Implementation and Service teams to support alignment of scope, dependencies, delivery dates and readiness criteria.

Build and test readiness: Update the register of functionality that has been built but not tested, partially tested or not yet approved for release. Record ownership, dependencies, defects and planned next steps, and escalate issues to experienced team members.

Testing coordination: Support test planning, scenario definition, acceptance criteria, defect triage and evidence management to help changes receive appropriate functional, integration, regression and user acceptance testing.

Interface inventory: Help maintain a catalogue of EDM user interfaces, capabilities, configurations and version dependencies.

Client deployment baseline: Record the interface and software versions deployed in each client environment, including enabled features, local configuration, known constraints and outstanding upgrade requirements.

Upgrade impact assessment: Assist with comparing current client deployments with target releases. Document identified capability gaps, prerequisites, data and process impacts, testing needs and implementation risks.

Client value articulation: Contribute to release and upgrade materials that explain new functionality, operational benefits, control improvements and required adoption activities for each client.

Release governance: Support release planning and readiness reviews by collating information on scope, testing status, defects, documentation, training, deployment dependencies and operational acceptance.

Operating Handbooks, training and release communications: Help maintain EDM Operating Handbooks, process flows, user guides and role-based training materials in line with deployed functionality, controls and the target operating model. Contribute to release newsletters and supporting communications covering new capabilities, resolved issues, client impacts, required actions and available training to support consistent adoption.

Risk and control: Identify and escalate delivery, testing, deployment, versioning and support risks. Maintain clear records of assumptions, decisions and mitigations to support transparent and auditable delivery.
