Job Description SummaryWe aim to hire a highly motivated Praktek Kerja Industri (Prakerin) students for period of 6 months and be passionate to learn and ready for future opportunity to become our Electrical Engineer after passing the program & graduated The Electrical Engineer will work under the supervision Electrical Leader in the preparation of electrical design concept, preliminary calculation, technical analysis, the document, and drawings delivery reliability for Power Transformer products.

Job Description Responsibilities:

Design Support: Assist in creating electrical design calculations for both project and tender execution. Collaborate with Electrical and Mechanical teams to develop detailed shop-floor drawings, winding assembly drawings, and insulation order codes.

Design Management: Manage electrical design activities, including creating Bills of Material (BOM) and analysis reports for dielectric figures using the Finite Element Method (FEM) for specialized projects. Support the production team to ensure processes meet customer specifications.

Hands-on Engineering: Work alongside specialists and experts to apply engineering fundamentals to real-world problem-solving in design and production.

Stakeholder Coordination: Develop the ability to communicate and coordinate with external suppliers and customers regarding design activities.

EHS Leadership: Learn and implement EHS directives, actively participate in EHS programs, and contribute to improving our EHS culture.

Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities to shorten electrical design lead times through automation and standardization.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Build strong coordination with industrial teams to ensure error-free products, worker safety, environmental compliance, and cost efficiency.

Requirements:

Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (Power).

Strong interest in Power Transformer principles and a solid understanding of electrical fundamentals.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Previous internship experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.

Active organizational or extracurricular experience is highly desirable.

Must be able to commit to a full-time internship for a minimum of 6 months at PT. UNINDO.
