Engineering Undergraduate Summer Internship in Rosyth, Scotland (UK) for 10–12 weeks starting June 2026. You'll work on defence programmes and cutting-edge technologies, learning how complex engineering projects are delivered from design to maintenance. You'll support shipbuilding, advanced manufacturing and engineering activities, contributing to programmes such as Type 31 Frigate, Missile Tubes Assembly Programme, UK Submarine Dismantling Programme, and Queen Elizabeth Class aircraft carrier maintenance. You'll build knowledge in marine engineering, electrical and mechanical systems, naval architecture, systems design, health and safety, and project management, and develop skills in problem-solving, technical analysis, testing and validation, communication, engineering tools and software, collaboration, and technical documentation. Security clearance (BPSS) required. Location: Rosyth, Scotland; Start date: June 2026; Application closing date: 20 October 2026; there is an openness to flexible working discussed at interview.
