Entry Level Background Investigator (Part-Time On-Call) supporting federal background investigations in US (Washington, DC area). Responsibilities include conducting interviews via Virtual Teleconference (VTC), phone, and in-person methods; reviewing records to assess background, reputation, and qualifications; intensive virtual training with shadowing; potential travel across the U.S. for temporary duty assignments (TDY), typically lasting 2 weeks. Minimum clearance required: Top Secret. Home office setup with reliable high-speed Internet and an internet stipend. TDY travel is local and up to 10% travel is indicated. This role follows SCA wage determinations with a minimum hourly wage of $25.82; benefits and continuous learning opportunities are provided.
