Job Description

AECOM is hosting an exclusive, invitation-only hiring event in New York, New York October 15th and 16th.  This is a great opportunity to learn and connect with AECOM for career opportunities starting Spring/Summer 2027.

The event kicks off on Thursday evening with a networking mixer from 6-8 pm, where you can hear from AECOM staff about various projects, career paths, and the company itself. You’ll also have the chance to meet other students, recent graduates, and AECOM professionals from across our business lines.

On Friday, interviews will take place at our New York office. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about and connect with AECOM for early career opportunities.

AECOM is seeking an Entry-Level Project Controls Analyst for our Project Management Projects in New York City Metropolitan Area (NY METRO).

This position is expected to begin in Spring/Summer 2027 or as discussed.

AECOM is actively seeking a bright and highly motivated Project Controls Analyst for employment in our Project Management Business Line based out of our New York, NY office.

Responsibilities and skills include but are not limited to:

Introduced to financial terminology, measures, concepts and principles for analysis of financial data.

Introduced to the company financial and cornerstone systems and processes.

Exposed to processes that increase recognition of financial impact of various project actions.

Exposure to WBS concepts and principles.

Research data for subsequent use in analyzing cost and schedule analysis.

Developing knowledge of accounting principles.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

BA/BS + None or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Preferred Requirements:

Previous experience with Microsoft Power BI Software.
