Funeral Director Apprentice position in Wolseley, SK. Provides customer service to client families following a loss and learns how a Funeral Director implements decisions regarding funeral arrangements, final disposition, and memorialization. Assists with arranging ceremonies, negotiating and creating funeral contracts, handling contracts and payments, and coordinating interment or cremation. Supports aftercare and documentation, and assists with office duties, vehicle/venue setup, and logistics. Requires high school diploma or GED (or equivalent) and enrollment in or completion of a mortuary college/technical program; typically 6 months of experience in a funeral home, crematory, or cemetery; valid driver’s license. Work involves indoor/outdoor environments, travel up to 25%, and potential longer hours.
