HVAC Operations & Maintenance Mechanical Service Apprentice (union)

HVAC Operations & Maintenance Mechanical Service Apprentice (union) based in Metairie, Louisiana. Apprentices perform pneumatic control systems and mechanical equipment service under the labor agreement, install more complex field devices and perform commissioning using standard configuration and commissioning tools, troubleshoot and resolve problems, respond to basic warranty calls, and keep JCI, contractors, and the customer informed of job progress and issues as needed. Requires high school diploma or equivalent, familiarity with HVAC equipment, EPA Refrigeration certification a plus, ability to perform general building maintenance and work in an industrial environment, self-starter with ability to work independently, current driver's license, willingness to supplement on-the-job training with Local-provided training, and a 2 year degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
