Summary of Performance Expectations
Performs a variety of imaging modalities under the clinical direction of a Radiologist or Surgeon.
Education and Credentials
Required
Student of an accredited Radiologic Technology program that has completed a minimum of two complete semesters within the program and remains currently enrolled. BCLS certification. If the BCLS certification is not from the American Heart Association (AHA), an AHA certification is required within one month of employment date. The hospital may terminate the employee upon their graduation or unenrollment from their accredited Radiology Technology program.
Preferred
Work Experience
No previous experience required. Given training and on-the-job experience, incumbent should be proficient in the basic aspects of radiology within three months of employment date.
