Summary of Responsibilities:

As an Asset Maintenance Intern, you'll gain hands-on experience supporting the maintenance and reliability of ATC's electric transmission system. Working alongside experienced professionals, you'll assist with field inspections, asset data analysis, maintenance planning, and projects that help ensure safe and reliable electric service across the region.

What You'll Do

• Support transmission asset inspection and maintenance activities. • Participate in field visits to observe transmission line equipment and infrastructure. • Assist with collecting, organizing, and analyzing asset condition data. • Support maintenance planning, reporting, and documentation. • Utilize GIS, maintenance databases, and other utility technology tools. • Participate in safety meetings and field observations. • Collaborate with teams across Asset Maintenance, Engineering, Operations, and Vegetation Management. • Gain exposure to substation maintenance activities and utility operations.

What You'll Bring

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or a related field. • Strong interest in utility infrastructure, maintenance, or field operations. • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The pay range for this position is $23-27/hr.  The pay range is a general guideline. Employment offers are evaluated individually and consider qualifications, experience and academic achievements.
