Intern, Data Analysis and Visualisations

Duration: Initially 6 months, start date 1 November 2026

About the Role

This role is for someone who enjoys turning raw numbers into a story leadership can act on. Sitting within Circles Engineering Operations team (EngOps), the intern will get direct exposure to how Engineering leadership makes resourcing and delivery decisions, working with real account data and creating real dashboards.

Alongside supporting leadership presentation prep, s/he will also run the team's day-to-day resourcing data, giving them a genuine stake in how Engineering plans and allocates capacity. It's a role that blends analytical rigor with storytelling, and offers plenty of room to shape one AI or reporting initiative.

Job Responsibilities

As a Data Analysis and Visualizations Intern, your key objectives will be to:

Support leadership presentation preparation end to end: crunching numbers, running quick data analysis, and helping shape the narrative that turns raw figures into a clear, decision-ready story for Engineering and Product leadership.

Own day-to-day data entry for runn.io, working closely with Engineering leadership to keep the platform current, flagging deviations and areas that need attention.

Prepare for weekly, monthly, and periodic account reviews with Engineering leadership, coordinating closely with Finance, People & Culture, and Project Management Office to make sure the data is accurate and ready before it reaches decision-makers.

Identify and drive one AI or data analytics use case of your own, with room to experiment with how automation or better visualisation could make reporting faster and more useful for the team.

Note: this role is best suited to someone with a technical or analytical background who enjoys number crunching and translating findings into clear narratives and slides for leadership. There will be some day-to-day data entry involved as part of the role.
