Intern - PDM - Pre-Pivotal Biologics Formulation and Process Development at Gilead in Foster City, CA. Hybrid internship (not fully remote) lasting 10-12 consecutive weeks between May and August. Responsibilities include evaluating next-generation drug product strategies for high-dose subcutaneous delivery of biologic therapies; conducting literature reviews to support formulation and process development; designing and developing high-dose biologic formulations with analytical characterization to assess formulation compatibility, injectability, stability, and platform feasibility; collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize process parameters and conduct device characterization studies; and presenting a final work presentation near the conclusion of the internship.
