IT Intern - Analytics & Digital Education (Spring 2027)
Arthrex, Inc. is a global medical device company and a leader in new product development and medical education in orthopedics. Arthrex is actively searching for a dynamic and resourceful student to join the Data and Analytics team in Naples, FL. This team is responsible for supporting the use of data and analytics globally, including employee upskilling and education. This role involves facilitating online education, communications, and events for our technical and non-technical communities, developing engaging micro-learning modules and how-to documentation, creating insightful blog content, and fostering strong relationships with stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess an excellent understanding of the modern digital landscape, communication skills, a knack for creative writing, and a passion for stakeholder engagement and change management. This internship will run from January 2027 – April 2027. The ideal candidate will have the availability to work at least 20 hours per week at our Naples, FL facility.
Main Objective:
To support and enhance the Data, Digital, and AI Literacy Programs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Plan and facilitate workshops/meetings with members of both nontechnical and technical communities.
Help grow strong relationships between the various business stakeholders and the Literacy programs.
Organize meetings as needed to support the Data, Digital, and AI Literacy programs.
Assist with needs assessments and gap analysis interviews, as well as create documentation on interview results.
Work with program lead and stakeholders to define future state goals and road mapping.
Work with subject matter experts to understand article topics, write blogs, create video overviews, and step-by-step instructions/checklists/similar documentation.
Maintain and update existing modules as needed.
Create a backlog of blog article topics, micro-learning modules and how-to instructions to support the Literacy programs, technical education programs, and other communities.
Maintain and update the Engage Community SharePoint sites as needed at the direction of the program lead or other director or managers.
Create emails and other types of communications, including surveys, questionnaires, and/or assessments based on requirements provided by program lead, stakeholders, or other internal partners (Organization Change Management/Communications).
Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
Progress towards a college degree in a related field required. Junior or above, studying Data & Analytics, Business Intelligence, Communications or Public Relations preferred. (Recent graduates must be within six months of their graduation date to qualify.)
Experience with change management preferred.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:
Professional written and verbal communication is highly preferred.
A general understanding of AI technology and the modern digital landscape, including tools and technology such as Power BI and Power Platform preferred.
Be able to follow written and verbal direction.
Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:
PC; Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook; PowerPoint; Word and Excel. Fax; Scanner.
