Junior / Mid Software Tester with German

Location: POL - DS - WROCLAW

Job Description:

DXC Technology Polska is looking for a Junior or Mid Software Tester to join our German-speaking team, based in Wrocław.

Hybrid work model: 2 days per week in the Wrocław office

German: B2 minimum (C1 preferred)

English: B2 minimum

In this role, you will support international projects by ensuring software quality through test planning, execution, documentation, and close collaboration with developers, business analysts, and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze business and technical requirements and verify their testability

Design, execute, and maintain test cases and test scenarios

Perform functional, integration, system, end-to-end, and regression testing

Conduct exploratory testing to identify risks and unexpected behavior

Document test results, defects, and quality risks

Retest fixes and track defects through resolution

Collaborate with developers, analysts, and customers to ensure high-quality deliveries

Contribute to test process improvements in agile and hybrid project environments

Requirements:

Junior level:

Basic knowledge of software testing through studies, training, internships, or personal projects

Mid level:

Hands-on testing experience and ability to independently plan and execute tests

For both levels:

Understanding of testing methodologies and software development processes

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to document defects and test results clearly

German (B2+) and English (B2+) communication skills

Nice to have:

ISTQB CTFL certification (or willingness to obtain it)

Experience with Jira/Xray or similar testing tools

Basic API testing knowledge (REST APIs)

Basic SQL skills

Experience or interest in test automation (Playwright, Selenium)

Knowledge of Python or JavaScript

Understanding of CI/CD concepts

Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
