Hatch is seeking a dynamic Junior Process Engineer. Reporting to the Metals group, you will support offices globally working from our Pittsburgh, PA office location.

Qualifications:

Roles at this level are filled by recent or soon to be university/college graduates with little or no professional experience but possessing relevant skills

Preferred bachelor’s or master’s degree in cemical engineering, materials science engineering, or mechanical engineering

Minimum of a cumulative 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale

As the successful candidate, you will:

Evaluate Process Alternatives and Equipment/Technology Selection.

Analyze existing equipment operational data to improve processes (in terms of throughput and/or cost).

Work with a cross-discipline team to plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate engineering work.

Interface with client’s project team to produce technical and commercial documents/presentations.

Travel to client sites as needed.

Perform assignments related to your sector

Assist with preparation of detailed design for projects

Support preparation of drawings from detailed notes and specifications

Coordination with other technicians/engineers on projects

Provide support to Senior Engineers and Designers as and when needed
