The Koch Internship Program (KIP) is a paid experiential learning program run by Stand Together Fellowships that offers professional development, leadership training, and meaningful work experience at non-profits tackling some of our nation's most pressing policy challenges all over the United States. Early-career professionals including undergraduate/graduate/law students and recent graduates are encouraged to apply. Eligible candidates will be geographically located in and authorized to work in the United States through the duration of the program. Successful candidates will interview with both our non-profit partner organizations and Stand Together Fellowships staff, so we strongly encourage you to begin the admissions process early!

About the Role FREOPP is seeking a highly motivated intern to serve as an Operations Intern in our growing organization. This is a hands-on, high trust role for someone who enjoys learning quickly, solving problems, and bringing structure to a fast paced environment. The Operations Intern will work closely with senior staff and contribute across a wide range of organizational functions, including operations, development, research, scheduling, data management, and special projects.

Because FREOPP is a rapidly growing organization, this is not a traditional administrative internship. While the role includes important backend responsibilities that keep the organization running, the Operations Intern will also be trusted with meaningful responsibilities, independent projects, and opportunities to improve how FREOPP operates.

The role is intentionally broad and dynamic. The successful candidate should be comfortable handling both routine details and unfamiliar problems, and should approach both with the same level of care.

About FREOPP The Foundation for Research on Equal Opportunity (FREOPP) is a nonprofit think tank that produces policy research and practical implementation strategies designed to expand opportunity for Americans who need it most.

FREOPP advances policy ideas that: address the needs of individuals with wealth or income below the national median; have the potential to earn bipartisan support; and increase individual liberty.

Through rigorous analysis and practical implementation strategies, FREOPP develops durable policy solutions across healthcare, welfare reform, child welfare, housing, K–12, higher education, and more that expand opportunity and strengthen individual agency.
