Field-based Loss Control Inspector Trainee position with Hartford Steam Boiler Inspection and Insurance Company in Moorhead, MN. Performs inspections of boilers and pressure vessels, property-casualty surveys, risk assessment surveys, claims investigations, and electrical risk management surveys. Includes 12 weeks of intensive training to gain inspection qualifications, plus annual ongoing training. Requires high school diploma and experience with boilers/pressure vessels or nuclear reactors; engineering degree may reduce experience requirements. Travel to client sites is expected and site-based work is essential.
