Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Manufacturing Data & Analytics Co-Op located in our Libertyville, IL site.

Reporting to Process & Automation Engineering Team, the student will support manufacturing data analysis, OEE tracking, dashboard development, and SPC charting across molding and coiling operations while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

What a typical day looks like:

Develop Power BI dashboards for OEE, downtime, scrap, and cycle time

Write SQL queries to extract production data

Use Python for data analysis and automation scripts

Create and maintain SPC charts (X-bar, R, Cpk analysis)

Support coiler data collection integration

Assist with predictive maintenance analytics initiatives

Attend team meetings to support project work as needed

Student qualities we’re seeking for this Co-Op assignment:

Junior/Senior student pursuing Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering, Data Science, Computer Engineering, or Systems Engineering major

Proficiency in Python for data analysis and automation

Strong SQL skills for data extraction

Experience with Microsoft Power BI for dashboards

Basic knowledge of statistics

Understanding of manufacturing KPIs (OEE, downtime, scrap, cycle time)

Exposure to data collection and predictive maintenance concepts

Previous manufacturing internship experience a plus!

Co-Op Program Requirements:

Ability to work 40 hours/week (in person) during the Spring 2027 co-op assignment

Currently enrolled in 4-year accredited university

3.0 GPA

The base pay range for this position is provided below. The final base rate offered will be determined using job-related, non-discriminatory criteria, including but not limited to experience, qualifications, geographic location, education, external market data, and internal equity. Pay Range $20 - $34 Hourly
