MARKETING Intern, Balkans

We are looking is looking for a motivated Marketing Intern to join our Media Networks team in Bulgaria for a fixed period of 12 months.

In this role you will support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns across Disney’s TV brands, gaining hands-on experience in campaign coordination, asset management and digital marketing. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth delivery of marketing activities, working closely with internal teams and external agencies. The role also offers exposure to YouTube channel management for the Disney Kids brands (Disney Channel and Disney Junior), supporting content coordination and performance tracking.

While this role will focus primarily on the Bulgarian market, you will also support regional activities promoting the company’s linear TV across Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia.

For this position, we need you to be able to work onsite in our office in Sofia 4 days a week.

MAIN TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

You will learn the Media Networks Bulgaria team workflows and gain knowledge about the marketing and sales area in Pay TV industry for leading TV brands, including National Geographic, Star Channel, 24Kitchen, Disney Channel and other TV channels part of Disney’s portfolio in Bulgaria.

Marketing Campaign Execution & Coordination

Support Marketing Managers in the planning and execution of effective and efficient marketing campaigns for STAR Channel, STAR Life, STAR Crime, National Geographic, 24Kitchen and Disney Channel in Bulgaria.

Assist in managing campaign workflows, ensuring all marketing assets are delivered, localized, and distributed on time.

Coordinate with internal teams and external agencies to support campaign roll-out.

Track timelines, follow up on deliverables and ensure alignment across stakeholders.

Contribute to the preparation of campaign materials, presentations, and internal updates.

Content & Asset Management

Support ongoing content deliveries by organizing, tracking, and distributing marketing assets.

Ensure all creative materials meet brand guidelines and are delivered according to market requirements.

Assist in maintaining accurate records of campaign materials and updates.

Help streamline internal processes and improve workflow efficiency.

Digital & Social Media Support

Coordinate with external agencies on the execution of social media content calendars.

Support the preparation of briefs and materials for digital campaigns.

Monitor social media activity and assist in reporting basic performance insights.

Stay up to date with digital trends and share relevant observations.

YouTube Support

Support day-to-day coordination of the YouTube Disney Kids Bulgaria channel.

Assist in uploading and organizing video content.

Monitor basic channel performance.

Help track content delivery timelines and coordinate with stakeholders on video assets.

Contribute to performance reports and optimization recommendations.

Market & Performance Insights

Monitor market trends and competitor activity.

Support the preparation of campaign and performance reports.

Assist in gathering data and insights to inform marketing decisions.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Proactive ability to plan, organize, manage and analyze.

Willingness to embrace the internship opportunity and demonstrate a flexible and dedicated approach to work.

Strong interest in marketing, media and the entertainment industry.

Enthusiasm for factual and scripted content, interest in TV content – series and movies fan.

Knowledge of Bulgarian TV/entertainment market will be a benefit.

Interest in digital marketing and content-driven platforms (including YouTube).

Motivation to gain hands-on experience in campaign execution and coordination.

Good understanding of social media platforms.

Strong PowerPoint, Excel and general MS Office skills.

Fluent English (written and spoken).

Analytical mindset with the ability to work with data and strong attention to detail

Eagerness to learn and develop in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
