The Marty Faubell Broadcast Technology Fellowship provides college seniors with exposure to engineering and information technology in television production within a live broadcast facility. The program includes a 10-week post-graduation assignment at a Hearst Television station chosen by the company, with relocation to the appointed Hearst station after completion. Applicants must be completing their senior year, demonstrate interest in engineering and IT, maintain a strong academic record, and provide two recommendations. Finalists may be interviewed by phone or via video conference; applications require a letter of interest, a one-page summary of technology interest, resume, transcript, and two recommendations.
