Master’s thesis position with the MicroDiagnostics research group at Fraunhofer IZI Leipzig. The project develops a platform to investigate the therapeutic potential of extracellular vesicles (EVs) using suitable cell models, focusing on quantitative assays to compare different EV preparations. Tasks include cultivation of human cells, isolation and characterization of EVs from cell culture supernatants, light and fluorescence microscopy with quantitative image analysis, and molecular biology analyses to characterize cellular responses.
