Mental Health Assessment Specialist Fellow-PM's-LOH Assessment & Referrals

Location: EDH Main Hospital Naperville

Hourly Pay Range: $28.47 - $42.71 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

Position: Assessment Specialist Fellow

Location: LOH Naperville

Full Time 36 hrs/week

Hours: PM's 2pm-12:30am

What you will do:

Assesses the clinical needs of customers seeking behavioral health services and provides treatment referrals which are consistent with the customer’s medical and psychiatric status/symptoms, all under the direct supervision of an Assessment Specialist II

Under supervision conducts comprehensive assessments and evaluations of patients' mental health status using standardized assessment tools and clinical interviews.

What you will need:

Education: Master’s Degree or a higher in a behavioral health field

Certification: Must be eligible to sit and take the licensing exam within six months of start date into position. Must have obtained Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Social Worker (LSW) licensure within one year of start date into position.

Experience: A minimum of one year of previous assessment experience

Unique or Preferred Skills: A high level of communication skills is required in order interact effectively with others in very difficult situations. Knowledge of DSM5 (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders) diagnostic criteria, ICD10 and interqual standards
