New Graduate Engineer, Starship Components at SpaceX in Hawthorne, CA. The Starship Components team develops the most advanced spacecraft and launch vehicle components—valves, regulators, electromechanical actuators, pumps, and explosives—that drive Starship/Super Heavy capabilities, from propellant flow to ullage gas thrusters and actuator systems. You will design, machine, build, and test components to operate in extreme environments, with temperatures from 80 to 800 K and pressures beyond 800 bar, supporting a life capability of >100 flights. After a successful interview, you will join a specialized role within the product lifecycle (manufacturing, design, testing, machining) and flex across disciplines to ensure mission success.
