New Graduate Nurse Residency - Vermont & New York Summer 2026 Cohorts

New Graduate Nurse Residency Programs across the UVM Health partners provide newly graduated nurses with knowledge, skills, and critical behaviors to start their careers. May 2026 graduates are invited to apply for Vermont and Northeastern New York cohorts starting June–October 2026 (subject to unit and affiliate). Programs include hands-on skills sessions, classes, and precepted clinical experiences with experienced nurses, nurse educators, and subject matter experts to support safe, confident patient care. Units across Alice Hyde Medical Center, Central Vermont Medical Center, Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital, Elizabethtown Community Hospital, Home Health & Hospice, Porter Medical Center, The University of Vermont Medical Center, and others are hiring for Summer/Fall 2026 (varies by partner). Sign-on bonuses may be offered by some partners; internal transfers have policy considerations.
