Paid part-time internship at The Arboretum at Penn State for 17 weeks (January 11 – May 7, 2027) focusing on outdoor, place-based environmental education. 20-30 hours/week, on-site in University Park, with some evening and weekend availability required. Responsibilities include developing, facilitating, and evaluating nature-based programs and activities; opportunities to learn about public gardens, horticulture, field trip facilitation, lesson planning, event planning, volunteer management, donor support, and public relations. Includes a mandatory 9-week Canvas course (Upskill Penn State) to support reflection on experiential learning.
