Pharmacist Intern PRN rotating position in the Carondelet network hospital in Tucson, AZ. Responsibilities include reviewing/dispensing medications, providing drug information and education to medical staff and patients, communicating with physicians and other clinicians, ensuring accurate entry and final checks for medications (including sterile products, chemotherapy, TPNs, and controlled substances), supervising pharmacy support staff, participating in safety/quality programs, and responding to emergencies. Requires Arizona Registered Pharmacist license, BLS-CPR on employment and ACLS within 6 months, and board certification within 36 months of eligibility; may be required to work at other Carondelet network facilities; variable shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
